First Officers support the safe and efficient operation of short‑haul and long‑haul flights. They assist the Captain with aircraft handling, navigation, and communication, conduct essential pre‑flight and in‑flight checks, monitor systems throughout all phases of flight, and respond to abnormal or emergency situations. They uphold operational standards, ensure regulatory compliance, and represent the airline’s professionalism while maintaining a high level of situational awareness and teamwork in the flight deck.
